Aaron Rodgers will not appear on The Pat McAfee Show for the rest of the NFL season, McAfee confirms.
Aaron Rodgers will not return to The Pat McAfee Show for the remainder of the NFL season, the show's host confirmed Wednesday.
McAfee, 36, said Rodgers' weekly guest appearance on the show would end as scheduled after the regular season.
But the host was relieved that Rodgers would be taking a break from appearing on the show after the NFL quarterback made comments last week alleging that Jimmy Kimmel had an affair with Jeffrey Epstein.
said.
The comments sparked a highly publicized feud between Rodgers, 40, and the late-night TV host, 56, and led to Kimmel threatening to sue Rodgers.
The topic was also widely discussed on social media, and McAfee said he received a large number of messages about topics unrelated to sports.
"I'm excited that this is no longer going to be every Wednesday of my life," McAfee said Wednesday.
"I think a lot of people, myself included, will be happy with this," the presenter added.
"Honestly, the way it ended was so uproarious.
