Volatility in Google’s search ranking algorithm on June 5th
I am observing signs of another significant Google search ranking update, with intense ranking volatility occurring on June 4th and continuing into June 5th. Many tracking tools are indicating heightened volatility, and there has been an increase in discussions within the SEO community, although not to the same extent as reflected by these third-party Google tracking tools.
Recent Google Volatility
Here's a recap of the recent Google search ranking volatility we've reported. The most recent was on June 1st, following the Memorial Day weekend. Prior to that, we noted fluctuations around May 22nd, May 16th, May 9th, May 3rd, and April 25th. Additionally, the March 2024 core update began on March 5th and concluded on April 19th, lasting 45 days.
